As dawn broke, Air Force One touched down at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland, outside Washington, and President Trump, wearing a white dress shirt, waved as he descended the red-carpeted stairs and entered his limousine.
As soon as the plane landed, President Trump posted on his personal Twitter page: “Just landed - a long trip, but everyone can now feel much safer than when I took office. There is no longer a nuclear threat from North Korea. Meeting with Kim Jong-un was an enjoyable and very positive experience. North Korea has great potential for the future.”
“Before I took office, everyone thought we were at war with North Korea,” the US leader added. “President Obama said North Korea was our biggest and most dangerous problem. But that problem is solved – sleep well tonight!”
