Trump and his 'addiction' to tweeting at 3am
At 3 a.m., while most of America was sleeping, presidential candidate Donald Trump took to Twitter to vent his anger, sometimes at beauty queens, sometimes at his opponent Hillary Clinton.
At 3am, at Trump Tower, a shadow disturbed the night before dawn. He suppressed his anger and grabbed his Android phone, pouring out his feelings to the digital world.
That's how the New York Times described Trump's habit of going on Twitter at 3 a.m. and posting "random" posts. Whenever Trump is alone, without his aides and advisers "watching over him," he will inevitably act inexplicably, and one of Trump's most inexplicable habits is his 3 a.m. statements.

The 'bombings' at midnight
One night, at 3 a.m., Trump criticized former Miss Universe Alicia Machado for gaining too much weight after her coronation. Another day, before dawn, he took to Twitter to criticize former President Bill Clinton’s extramarital affair.
Sometimes Trump doesn’t stop at just one tweet. At 3 a.m., he complains about the media constantly lying about him. At 5 a.m., he insults Machado again for her “sex tape,” without providing any evidence of its existence.
On the night of October 19, after the final debate with his opponent Hillary Clinton, Trump "watched" at 3am to post on Twitter, declaring his victory in the debate. However, his refusal to confirm that he would recognize the election results angered voters in many places, while experts assessed Mr. Trump's statement as the most dangerous in the history of US elections.
First Lady Michelle Obama never mentioned Donald Trump's name when she criticized him, often calling him "that person", "that candidate", or even "the one who tweets at 3am".
"I think we can all agree that the person who is on Twitter at 3 a.m. saying whatever they want should not have their finger on the nuclear button," Mrs. Obama said at a campaign rally for Mrs. Clinton.
The billionaire once "fired back" at those who mocked his habit with a tweet at 1:37 a.m.: "To those who mock me for getting on Twitter at 3 a.m., at least I'll be there, sober, to respond to you."

Trump's resentment
"It's the most dangerous part of him, the thing that always pushes him too far and hurts himself," Michael D'Antonio, author of the book The Truth About Trump, said of Trump's habit of speaking out after midnight.
"His worst instinct is to destroy himself," D'Antonio continued, in the context of Trump's thoughtless words causing him to "lose points" seriously in the eyes of voters.
Meanwhile, a Republican strategist, Mr. Charles Black, said that the tweets last night showed Trump's competitive nature.
“He can't let it go until he's proven right,” Black said.
The New York Times commented that the 3 a.m. statements were an outburst of Trump's internal anger, the result of his pride being hurt by outside attacks that he could not respond to.
That's why he posted a photo "disgracing" the wife of Ted Cruz, his opponent in the early stages of the race for the White House. Or when Trump accused two famous radio hosts of having an affair with each other, after they criticized him...
In an interview in late September, the billionaire still affirmed that he was very proud of the things he posted on Twitter.
"Why should I regret? I am very honest, and I only tell the truth. Now everyone understands everything. Before I told them, they did not understand anything," he affirmed.
Trump's decision was not supported by many of his relatives. When asked if there was any habit of Trump's that she would like him to give up, Melania Trump replied simply: "Twitter."
