President Trump and Chairman Kim Jong-un of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) conducted a comprehensive, in-depth, and sincere exchange of views on the issues related to the establishment of new US-DPRK relations and the building of a lasting and robust peace regime on the Korean Peninsula.
President Trump committed to provide security guarantees to the DPRK, and Chairman Kim Jong-un reaffirmed his firm and unwavering commitment to complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.
Emphasizing that the establishment of new US-DPRK relations will contribute to peace and prosperity on the Korean Peninsula and to the world, and recognizing that building mutual trust can advance the denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula, President Trump and Chairman Kim Jong-un agreed as follows:
1.The United States and the DPRK commit to building new US-DPRK relations in accordance with the aspirations of the peoples of the two countries for peace and prosperity.
2. The United States and the DPRK will join efforts to build a lasting and stable peace regime on the Korean Peninsula.
3. Reaffirming the Panmunjom Declaration signed on April 27, 2018, the DPRK commits to make every effort toward complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.
4. The United States and the DPRK commit to recovering POW/MIA (prisoners of war and missing in action) remains, including the immediate return of identified remains.

Recognizing that the US-DPRK summit – the first in history – was an event of great significance in overcoming decades of tensions and hostilities between the two countries and for the opening up of a new future, President Trump and Chairman Kim Jong-un commit to implement the stipulations in this joint document fully and expeditiously.
The United States and the DPRK commit to hold further negotiations, led by the United States Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and a high-ranking DPRK official at the earliest possible date, with the aim of implementing the outcomes of the US-DPRK Summit.
US President Donald Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un pledged to cooperate for the development of new relations between the two countries, as well as to promote peace, prosperity, and security on the Korean Peninsula and around the world.
