After a briefing meeting with the US Ambassador, the EU Ambassador and other ambassadors to Ukraine, Chief Prosecutor Yuriy Lutsenko said that faking the assassination of Russian journalist Arkady Babchenko was necessary because thanks to this incident, Ukrainian investigators had collected more information about the so-called “death list”.
“The investigation has found a list of 47 people who could be the next victims,” Mr. Lutsenko wrote on his personal Facebook page.
The list that Kiev claims to have found is 17 more than the Ukrainian authorities had previously estimated. Apart from Arkady Babchenko, the remaining 46 names are still being kept secret. However, Prosecutor General Lutsenko said that many of the people on the list are well-known Ukrainian and Russian journalists.

US taxi service Uber will be banned from operating in Türkiye, Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced.
"Uber's business in Türkiye is over. There is nothing left," Erdogan said, adding that the country already had a taxi system, and no one would allow the destruction of Turkey's private transport system. "We will be the ones to decide to ban Uber," Erdogan said.
With the arrival of Uber in Türkiye since 2014, there has been an explosion of discontent among domestic taxi drivers, who have begun to complain about unfair competition. In total, about 5,000 drivers have worked in the Uber system.
