The 2,000-year-old Tripitaka carved on palm leaves is a special cultural artifact, recognized by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage. This artifact is part of the collection of Mr. Schoeyen, a Norwegian scholar and archaeologist.
This Buddhist scripture was unearthed in a series of caves on the border between Pakistan and Afghanistan. The palm leaf scriptures are a priceless treasure of Buddhist culture, recording the teachings of the Buddha 2,000 years ago.

The Norwegian government has granted permission for the Thai Buddhist Sangha to borrow this artifact for exhibition in several countries in Southeast Asia and South Asia.
The Venerable Abbot of Huyen Khong Pagoda contacted the Norwegian government and the Thai Buddhist Sangha, asking to borrow this Buddhist cultural relic to organize an exhibition.
The Bodhi leaf scripture exhibition (April 26-27) is considered a cultural event before the Hue Festival 2016 officially opens on April 29. This year's festival lasts until May 4, with many activities such as street festivals, Royal Night, international cultural and culinary exchanges, kite festivals, exhibitions of traditional music and art performances from Vietnam, Japan, France, Russia, Israel, Sri Lanka, etc.
