Central Vietnam will continue to experience hot weather for the next 10 days.

From June 17th to 20th, Central Vietnam will experience widespread heatwaves with maximum temperatures commonly ranging from 35-38 degrees Celsius, and in mountainous areas reaching 39-40 degrees Celsius.

According to the Central Meteorological and Hydrological Forecasting Center, due to the influence of a compressed low-pressure trough with its axis passing through Northern Vietnam, the northern provinces will experience showers and scattered thunderstorms; mountainous and midland areas will have moderate to heavy rain in some places. Tornadoes and strong gusts of wind are possible during thunderstorms.

Northern Vietnam: From June 16th to 19th, hot weather will return to Northern Vietnam with daily maximum temperatures ranging from 34-37 degrees Celsius. On the 20th, temperatures will gradually decrease, reaching approximately 35 degrees Celsius in some areas. From the 21st to 23rd, there will be no hot weather in Northern Vietnam, with temperatures generally ranging from 31-34 degrees Celsius.

Central Vietnam: Hot weather will persist for the next 10 days. On the 15th, 16th, and from the 21st to the 23rd, the heat will slightly subside, with maximum temperatures generally ranging from 35 to 37 degrees Celsius. From the 17th to the 20th, the heat will intensify across a wide area, with maximum temperatures generally ranging from 35 to 38 degrees Celsius, and in mountainous areas reaching 39 to 40 degrees Celsius.

Central Highlands and Southern Vietnam: Generally no heatwaves over the next 10 days, with daily maximum temperatures ranging from 31–34 degrees Celsius.
