Regiment 1 - Division 324 - Military Region 4: Assisting the people in building new rural areas.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of October 12, 2014, Regiment 1 (Division 324, Military Region 4) dispatched 120 officers and soldiers to cooperate with the people of Le Lai hamlet (Giang Son Tay commune, Do Luong district, Nghe An province) in digging and constructing rural roads.

This is one of the collaborative activities between the leadership and command of Regiment 1 and Giang Son Tay, Do Luong district, as part of the Army's joint efforts to build new rural areas program.

Officers and soldiers of Regiment 1, together with the people of Le Lai hamlet, Giang Son Tay commune (Do Luong district), are building internal roads in the fields.

Despite the hot weather and heavy workload, the officers, soldiers, and local people worked with great enthusiasm and a high sense of responsibility. In one day's work, they excavated and filled 800 meters of road, 8 meters wide, and dredged 750 meters of irrigation canals to bring water to the fields in preparation for the upcoming winter-spring planting season.
