North Central Mobile Police Regiment: bravery, humanity, serving the people

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of April 12, the North Central Mobile Police Regiment (Mobile Police Command) held a launching ceremony to implement the Campaign "Building the style of a brave, humane and serving-the-people police officer".

At the launching ceremony, the leaders of the North Central Mobile Police Regiment (Regiment 26) informed all officers and soldiers about the resolutions and directives of the Party and State on Party building and rectification and of the Ministry of Public Security on the content and measures of the campaign; strengthened propaganda, political and ideological education, building a strong political stance, regular working style in work, combat and life of officers and soldiers; regularly fostered professional knowledge, law, capacity to perform public duties, communication and behavioral skills for officers and soldiers...

The campaign is a political activity aimed at creating a clear change in building the style of a public security soldier with strong political will and ideology; promoting the spirit of responsibility and awareness of serving the people.

At the same time, this is one of the important contents to effectively implement the Party's Central Resolution 4 (12th tenure) on "Strengthening Party building and rectification, contributing to preventing and repelling the degradation of political ideology, ethics, lifestyle, and manifestations of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation" within the Party"; Directive No. 05 of the Politburo on "Promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics and lifestyle" and Directive No. 07 dated October 26, 2016 of the Minister of Public Security on "Strengthening leadership to improve the culture of behavior of the People's Public Security in the new situation".

In order for the movement to truly go into depth, be practical and effective, Regiment 26 has proposed contents and implementation measures that are closely consistent with the assigned functions and tasks, specifically: Organizing a wide-ranging political activity in the entire Regiment to study, research and thoroughly grasp the resolutions and directives of the Party, State, Ministry of Public Security and the contents and measures to implement the movement; Strengthening propaganda and political and ideological education, building a strong political stance, regular working style, combat and living, ethics, cultural behavior, discipline, order, solidarity and responsibility of officers and soldiers in the regiment.

In addition, regularly foster professional knowledge, law, and capacity to perform public duties, build a team of officers and soldiers with pure moral qualities, cultural lifestyle, healthy lifestyle, focus on building communication skills, civilized and polite behavior of officers and soldiers of units; promote propaganda work on the style of People's Public Security officers with courage, humanity, serving the people; Strengthen the leadership of the Party, promote the role and responsibility of Party committees and unit heads in organizing and implementing the campaign...

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Major General Hoang Tho Manh highly appreciated the achievements of Regiment 26 in performing its tasks, especially in the context of the political security situation in the area where the unit is stationed recently, which has often had complicated developments.

He warned that the unit needs to be vigilant against the negative side of the market economy; the lure and fierce sabotage of hostile and reactionary forces... If officers and soldiers cannot maintain the qualities and mettle of people's police, it will weaken the people's trust and image in the force.

Therefore, Major General Hoang Tho Manh suggested that it is necessary to deeply understand the importance of the movement; continue to direct political activities from the squad level and above; commanders at all levels must be exemplary in order to encourage officers and soldiers; overcome difficulties in studying and training; practice cultural behavior towards comrades and people; soldiers must have a strong will when going to war and performing tasks. To do so, officers and soldiers must have a deep understanding of the law to know right from wrong, authority in performing tasks; organize monthly, quarterly and yearly summaries to promptly commend and reward officers and soldiers who perform well and learn from experience, correct and discipline if officers commit violations.

At the same time, it is required that immediately after the launching ceremony, the Regiment needs to focus on leading and directing the implementation of the movement close to its functions and tasks, practically, avoiding ostentation and formality.
