Transport Regiment 654 received the Second Class Fatherland Protection Medal

(Baonghean.vn) - On August 31, Transport Regiment 654 (Military Region 4) organized the Emulation Congress for Victory in the period 2012 - 2017 and received the Second Class Fatherland Protection Medal.

Over the past 5 years, the unit has successfully implemented and completed 1,038 road transport plans, 16 waterway transport plans, with a total transport volume of over 76,280 tons and over 13,430 people with 790,522 km of safe transport.

With the results achieved, from 2010 to 2015, the Party Committee of the Regiment always achieved the title of exemplary clean and strong unit, the Regiment achieved the title of determined winning unit, the Emulation Flag of the Military Region Command, and the Certificate of Merit of the Prime Minister. Especially in 2017, the Regiment was awarded the Second Class Fatherland Protection Medal by the President.

The above results were achieved thanks to the Emulation movement for Victory in the period 2012 - 2017 of Transport Regiment 654, Military Region 4, which was maintained regularly and developed evenly, becoming a great driving force, receiving positive responses from officers and soldiers, contributing significantly to the implementation of the unit's political tasks. 100% of officers and soldiers of the unit always identified their tasks well, promoted a sense of responsibility, received and completed assigned tasks well.

The emulation movement is integrated by Party committees and commanders at all levels with major movements and campaigns inside and outside the army such as the Campaign "Promoting tradition, dedicating talent, worthy of being Uncle Ho's soldiers"; the emulation movement "The Army Logistics Sector follows Uncle Ho's teachings", building a "Regular, safe, and effective" transport unit.

At the congress, authorized by the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the Military Region Command, Colonel Phan Van Sy - Deputy Political Commissar of the Military Region awarded the Second Class Fatherland Protection Medal to the Regiment.
