China: Over 30 people dead due to floods.
Guangdong province, which was hit hardest, has seen 650,000 people affected by heavy rains and 2,675 homes destroyed.
According to China's National Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Commission, 33 people have died and 12 others are missing after a storm and hailstorm swept through southern China.

According to China's Ministry of Interior and National Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Commission, heavy rains and storms have caused flooding and landslides in several areas since May 14.
Authorities promptly took measures to respond to the natural disaster and provide emergency relief, as well as dispatching working groups to Guangdong, the area most severely affected by the typhoon.
Heavy rains and storms have covered 173 districts across five cities in Guangdong province, including the capital Guangzhou. Water levels in several rivers in Guangdong have exceeded warning levels, particularly on a tributary of the Beijiang River, which has experienced its worst flooding in a century. To date, 650,000 people in Guangdong have been affected by the heavy rains, and 2,675 homes have been destroyed.
On May 16th, the National Center for Drought Relief and Flood Control of China dispatched two working groups to Guangdong and Jiangxi provinces to directly supervise flood control efforts.
As of 11:00 AM on May 16th, 19 meteorological stations in Guangdong had reported rainfall exceeding 250mm, with the highest reading reaching 339.8mm in Qujiang District, Shaoguan City.
Zhang Dong, head of the Guangdong Provincial Meteorological Station, said that heavy rains in short periods and prolonged rainfall in some areas could cause flooding and landslides.
According to forecasts, the effects of the storm will last until the end of today (May 17th), then weaken before bringing heavy rain back to some areas on May 18th.
