China insists it did not interfere in the US elections.
The Chinese embassy in the US emphasized that Washington should stop cyberattacks around the world and stop making accusations against other countries.

According to TASS on October 26, an official representative of the Chinese Embassy in Washington, D.C., stated that China is not attempting and has no plans to interfere in the U.S. presidential election, and opposes cyberattacks of all forms.
Earlier, the New York Times, citing sources, reported that Chinese hackers allegedly attempted to gain unauthorized access to the phones of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump and his running mate, James David Vance.
"We are unaware of the specific situation. We cannot comment on it," a representative from the Chinese embassy responded to a request for comment on the information.
According to this representative, China is one of the main victims of cyberattacks. China's position is consistent and clear. China resolutely opposes cyberattacks and theft in all forms and fights against them.
A representative from the Chinese Embassy emphasized that the election is an internal matter of the United States and that China has no intention of interfering in the US election, while also expressing hope that the US side will not make accusations against China during the election.
Furthermore, the Chinese Embassy in the US stated: “In recent years, the US has compiled and disseminated much misinformation regarding so-called threats of attack from China. These accusations are full of malicious speculation aimed at China. China strongly opposes them.”
Commenting on the statements from the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, a representative from the Chinese Embassy stated that the United States is the source of most cyberattack perpetrators.
According to a report by the US Federal Bureau of Investigation, authorities are investigating how hackers believed to be linked to China gained access to US telecommunications infrastructure.
"We urge the U.S. to cease its cyber espionage and cyberattacks around the world, and to stop slandering other countries under the pretext of cybersecurity," a representative from the Chinese Embassy in the U.S. stated.
