China Mobile's Hainan Mobile Company has put into operation a 4G transmission station on Linh Con Island in the Paracel Islands since September 7, Xinhua reported today. The signal covers seven islands in the Paracel Islands, including Phu Lam Island, Quang Anh Island, Cay Island, Hoang Sa Island, Tri Ton Island, Quang Hoa Island and Linh Con Island.
In March, China Mobile Telecom Corporation illegally provided 4G coverage at the Cross Reef and Subi Reef in Vietnam's Truong Sa archipelago, and plans to continue building 4G broadcasting stations on the artificial islands that China illegally built in Truong Sa in 2015.
Vietnam has indisputable sovereignty over the two archipelagos of Truong Sa and Hoang Sa. All activities of the parties in these areas without the permission of Vietnam are illegal and worthless.
