China is ready to cooperate strategically with Vietnam.
During a meeting with Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien, Chairman of the National Assembly of China Zhao Leji affirmed that China is ready to cooperate strategically with Vietnam and join hands in building socialism.
The delegation of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, led by Secretary of the Party Central Committee and Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien, is on an official visit to China.
On July 19, in Beijing, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien met with Chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress of China (Chairman of the National Assembly) Zhao Leji.

Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien expressed his delight at the positive development of the relationship between the two Parties and two countries, especially the recent visit to China by General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong (November 2022) and the visit of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.
The visits have contributed to enhancing strategic understanding and trust, creating an important foundation and driving force to comprehensively promote Vietnam-China relations.
Vietnam highly values and always prioritizes relations with China, supports China's development, and promotes its active role in peace, stability, and prosperity in the region and the world.
The Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front introduced to the Chairman of the National Assembly Trieu Lac Te the position and role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the cooperative relationship between the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the National People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) of China in recent times.
The Vietnam Fatherland Front has coordinated with the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference to effectively implement the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on the Cooperation Program for the 2014-2019 period, which was agreed to be extended by both sides. The two sides also regularly organize exchanges, contacts, and share operational experiences.

Chairman Do Van Chien said that during the visit, the delegation will have a working session with Chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference Wang Huning to discuss the direction of cooperation between the two organizations in the coming time.
The two sides will discuss signing a new MOU and organizing the second friendly exchange between the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and between the Vietnam Fatherland Front of 7 provinces and 2 provinces/autonomous regions of China.
Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien hopes that Mr. Trieu Lac Te will pay attention to and support the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference to cooperate effectively and successfully with the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
Mr. Do Van Chien said that in his position as Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, he will do his best to further foster the neighborly relationship and traditional friendship between the two Parties, two States and peoples.
National Assembly Chairman Trieu Lac Te emphasized that this year marks the 15th anniversary of comprehensive strategic cooperation between the two countries.
Mr. Trieu Lac Te agreed with the assessment of the Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien on the relationship between the two countries. According to him, China highly appreciated Vietnam's emphasis on development with China as the top priority. China is ready to cooperate strategically with Vietnam and join hands to build its own unique socialism.
Mr. Trieu Lac Te said that the two countries need to increase high-level exchanges, ensure smooth supply chains and promote people-to-people exchanges. The two countries also need to adhere to the perceptions and policies of both sides, create stable expectations and accelerate cooperation in all fields.
On this occasion, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien conveyed the invitation of National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue to Chairman of the Chinese National Assembly Zhao Leji to soon visit Vietnam and invited the delegation of young Chinese parliamentarians to attend the 9th Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians.
