(Baonghean.vn) - These days, the bustling, joyful atmosphere of the Mid-Autumn Festival has been and is filling every corner of the city, from the city to the highlands... However, in the small fishing village at the foot of Yen Xuan bridge, Xuan Lam commune, Hung Nguyen district, the children are still as quiet as usual.
Only when we came here and witnessed the daily life of the people in the fishing village at the foot of Yen Xuan bridge did we understand the hardships and deprivations of the poor children here. Because of the burden of making a living, the fathers and mothers cannot give their children a complete and meaningful Children's Day. With so many children, life is so difficult, so earning a living is already difficult, let alone letting the children enjoy the entire Mid-Autumn Festival. From a very young age, they have to get used to the river and help their parents with fishing nets... Life has changed, many families have settled down on land, but her family still has to live on this cramped boat. For decades, she has raised her children, and now she continues to look after them on hammocks tied to both ends of the boat.
