(Baonghean.vn) - On May 29, 2015, a delegation of heroic veterans of the armed forces visited Tuong Son commune (Anh Son district) to revisit their old battlefields.
The delegation was led by Lieutenant General Pham Tuan - Hero of the Armed Forces, Hero of Labor, Hero of the Soviet Union, former Director General of the General Department of Defense Industry (Ministry of Defense). Also accompanying the delegation were former pilots who had participated in combat in the airspace of Zone 4 in general and at Dua Airfield (Tuong Son commune, Anh Son district) in particular.
Returning to their old battlefields, the heroic veterans of the armed forces were truly moved and delighted by the affection of the local people and by the transformation of a rural area once ravaged by enemy bombs and bullets.
