Thailand national team center back: 'We are determined to defeat the Vietnamese team'

On the morning of September 9, the press conference before the match between the Vietnamese team and the Thai team took place at the headquarters of the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF). At the press conference, player Elias Dolah and head coach Matsatada Ishii both showed great determination before this confrontation.
"My teammates and I are a bit disappointed that we cannot play against Russia. However, I know that the match between Thailand and Vietnam will be watched by audiences all over Southeast Asia. Therefore, we will try our best to win.
I think the coaching staff has prepared well for the match, analyzed the opponent, found out the opponent's key players and how to block them. We are also very confident going into tomorrow's match," said Thai-Swedish player Elias Dolah.
Meanwhile, coach Matsatada Ishii said that not playing against the Russian team was a pity, but because of that, his team was better prepared.
"Because the match with the Russian team could not take place, we had more time to prepare for the match against Vietnam.
We analyzed the matches of the Vietnam team in the World Cup qualifiers as well as against the Russian team. I realized that they are still developing in terms of tactics, techniques, and many attacking options. We also analyzed together to find ways to reduce the scoring ability of the Vietnam team," said Mr. Ishii.
