SLNA's central defender Nguyen Ba Duc was called up to the U23 Vietnam team by coach Park Hang-seo.
(Baonghean.vn) - To prepare for the 30th Sea Games taking place at the end of this year, coach Park Hang-seo has summoned Nguyen Ba Duc, a central defender currently on the payroll of SLNA.
Nguyen Ba Duc was born in 1998 in Nghi Loc, in the same generation of talented players as Thai Bao Trung, Tran Tien Anh, Tran Dinh Tien,.. This central defender is 1m78 tall and was promoted by coach Nguyen Duc Thang to try out for the SLNA first team since the 2019 season.

Although he has not yet had the chance to compete in the V.League environment, training and participating in friendly matches of SLNA has helped Nguyen Ba Duc mature and accumulate experience.
Being the only SLNA player called up to the preliminary list of U23 Vietnam to prepare for the Sea Games will also give Nguyen Ba Duc more motivation to show himself, in order to compete for a position in the official list for the 30th Sea Games.
This July, the Vietnam U22 team will have two short training sessions at PVF Center to prepare for SEA Games 30: Session 1 from July 8-11, Session 2 from July 22-25.
