(Baonghean.vn) -This afternoon (April 27th), the Vinh Stadium organizing committee officially began selling tickets for tomorrow's match against Ninh Binh. At the ticket counters in stands A and B, thousands of tickets sold out in just over half an hour. In the ticket area for stands C and D, fans crowded and lined up, but it was very difficult to buy tickets. Outside, ticket touts were operating very actively.
According to the plan, ticket sales were scheduled to open at 2 PM, but thousands of people had already crowded together in lines since midday, waiting for their turn. Many fans said they had traveled dozens of kilometers from districts such as Thanh Chuong, Nam Dan, Nghi Loc, Cua Lo, and Do Luong to queue for tickets but were unable to buy any.
While fans struggled to queue all afternoon to buy tickets, outside, dozens of ticket touts were busy hawking their wares. Black market ticket prices were inflated seven or eight times the official price. Holding a stack of more than a dozen tickets, a woman with her face covered said that tickets for stands C and D were priced at 80,000 dong (while the original price was 10,000 dong); tickets for stand A were being sold for 600,000 dong, and for stand B for 150,000 dong each… Many ticket touts were shouting, “If you don’t buy now, there won’t be any tickets left tomorrow!”
Despite the exorbitant ticket prices, many people had to grit their teeth and buy them for various reasons. Meanwhile, many people from the surrounding districts were left disappointed. Mr. Nguyen The Ngoc from Thanh Chi commune, Thanh Chuong district, said he had arranged his family affairs and traveled to Vinh city to buy tickets for the match between Song Lam Nghe An and Ninh Binh, but the process was too difficult, and black market tickets were too expensive, so he and several others had to return home. Mr. Ngoc said he would continue queuing tomorrow in the hope of buying tickets to the stadium.
