Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission awarded the 70-year Party membership badge in Thanh Chuong
(Baonghean.vn) - On February 8, comrade Thai Thanh Quy - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission presented the 70-year party membership badge to veteran party members in Thanh Chuong district.
Also attending were representatives of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee, the Provincial Border Guard Command, leaders of Thanh Chuong district, and the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs.

Speaking at the Party badge awarding ceremonies, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission Thai Thanh Quy expressed his gratitude for the contributions to the Party's revolutionary cause of veteran Party members; at the same time wished them good health, continued to educate their children and grandchildren to grow up, and contribute to the cause of building the homeland and the country.
On this occasion, comrade Thai Thanh Quy and the delegation also visited and presented Tet gifts to Mr. Phan Duc To, a revolutionary veteran in Vo Liet commune; 1/4 disabled soldier Nguyen Thanh Nam in Ha village, Thanh Linh commune; 2/3 disabled soldier Tran Dinh Ty in hamlet 2, Dong Van commune.
Expressing gratitude for the contributions of comrades to the revolutionary cause, the struggle for independence and national reunification, at the visited locations, the Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission wished comrades and their families good health and a warm and happy new year.

On the same day, the delegation also visited and presented gifts to poor households, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Binh and Mrs. Tran Thi Tran, both in Ngoc Son commune. Sharing the difficulties of their families, comrade Thai Thanh Quy kindly visited and encouraged the poor households, hoping that the families would overcome their difficulties and improve their lives.
The Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission and the delegation also presented 172 gifts to poor households and 20 scholarships to poor students who overcame difficulties in Thanh An commune.
The delegation also visited and wished a happy new year to officers and soldiers of Thanh Thuy Border Guard Station.
Last year, the station continued to perform its tasks well, notably managing and firmly protecting sovereignty and border security, performing well in border diplomacy, and effectively fighting and preventing all types of crimes.

On the other hand, the unit also coordinates with local authorities and functional departments to advise well on protecting internal security, helping local authorities improve capacity, strengthen the fighting strength of grassroots party organizations, especially helping people in Khe Mu village build new rural areas, eliminate hunger and reduce poverty.
To celebrate Tet "Border spring warms the hearts of villagers", the unit gave 103 gifts to poor households, each worth 500,000 VND./.
