At the conference, there were many opinions and questions from voters about land management and policies for people with revolutionary contributions. For example, Mr. Du Xuan Hong, Doi Cung 1 hamlet, Mr. Nguyen Hoa Son, Tien Phong 2 hamlet, had comments about payment of benefits for people with revolutionary contributions in areas such as benefits for people infected with Agent Orange, health insurance, and housing construction support.

On the morning of April 28, continuing the program of meeting voters before the 3rd session of the 14th National Assembly, Mr. Phan Dinh Trac - Member of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Committee and National Assembly delegates of the No. 2 election team had a meeting with voters of Ky Son commune, Tan Ky district. Also attending were representatives of Tan Ky district leaders; relevant departments, branches and sectors.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Dai, Bac Son hamlet, Phu Son commune, reported on the murder case in Tan Huong commune; Mr. Dai also reported that some of the province's regulations on receiving citizens are still cumbersome. After 15 comments from voters, Mr. Le Van Dinh - Chairman of Ky Son Commune People's Committee, Mr. Dang Tho Xuan - Vice Chairman of District People's Committee answered and explained voters' recommendations related to the locality.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Phan Dinh Trac acknowledged the opinions of voters and responded to some opinions within the authority of National Assembly deputies. The Head of the Central Internal Affairs Committee requested the district to grasp some new regulations on planning and land policies to promptly resolve them for the people. Regarding the voters' reflections on violations in implementing policies for people with revolutionary contributions, Mr. Phan Dinh Trac requested the local government to investigate, verify and strictly handle violations.

Regarding the issue of subsidies for Youth Volunteers, currently the whole country has more than 400,000 Youth Volunteers who participated in the resistance war for less than 15 years and have not yet received the regime, the State has implemented a subsidy of 2.5 million VND/person, the district is requested to review and pay the people in a timely manner. The whole country has 28,000 policy households eligible for support in building and repairing houses, however, the State has only supported 70% for more than 1,400 households. The State has been very active in implementing policies for people with meritorious services to the revolution, however, those efforts are still not commensurate with the contributions and sacrifices of the people to the country, so Mr. Phan Dinh Trac promised to continue to give opinions to the Government to speed up the implementation of this policy.

Regarding the proposal on handling corruption, the Head of the Central Internal Affairs Committee affirmed: “Anyone who is corrupt must be dealt with, but it is necessary to select key cases to deal with first. In the country, death penalty has been applied to 4 corruption cases, imprisonment has been imposed, and many other measures have been taken against organizations and individuals who have caused loss of State assets, and the Government will continue to strictly implement this issue.”

Regarding some other issues, Mr. Phan Dinh Trac also explained in detail, requesting the local authorities to quickly consider and resolve them to avoid public frustration. At the end of the conference, on behalf of the National Assembly delegation of Nghe An province, Mr. Phan Dinh Trac thanked the voters of Tan Ky district for their responsible contributions and promised to fully absorb the voters' feedback to report to the National Assembly, the Government, and relevant ministries and branches for consideration and resolution.
