Dien Hung is a coastal commune of Dien Chau district and was previously a commune with a complicated situation of security and order, with complicated developments of crimes. In that situation, the Party Committee and people of Dien Hung commune always determined that the work of ensuring national security, social order and safety, and building a movement of the entire people to protect national security and order is a key task, requiring the participation of the entire political system. In 2023, Dien Hung was one of the first two communes of Dien Chau district selected by the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee to build a typical commune in the movement of the entire people to protect national security and order.

In recent times, Dien Hung has effectively built and maintained many models in the movement of the whole people to protect national security such as: Crime reporting mailbox; Self-managed inter-family groups on security and order; Self-managed residential areas on fire prevention and fighting... thereby raising awareness of crime prevention among the masses. In the past 8 months, the police force of Dien Hung commune has investigated and clarified 2 cases of property theft, 1 case of illegal possession of drugs, promptly prevented 4 cases of online fraud and prevented many cases of fighting in the area.

In addition, doing a good job of managing subjects under management and establishing 3 drug rehabilitation records at home and in the community... Thereby contributing significantly to maintaining security and order in the area.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Le Duc Cuong - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee highly appreciated the results that Dien Hung commune has achieved in the movement of the whole people to protect national security in the past time. At the same time, he suggested that Dien Hung commune continue to innovate the content and form in launching the movement of the whole people to protect national security to mobilize the masses to participate, so that the movement can be increasingly effective, contributing positively to ensuring political security and social order and safety in the area.

On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee and the District People's Committee presented gifts to the officials and people of Dien Hung commune. Many collectives and individuals were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Provincial People's Committee, District People's Committee and Commune People's Committee for their outstanding achievements in the movement of the whole people to protect national security in 2023.
