Vietnam - Korea Technical College received the First Class Labor Medal

Vietnam - Korea Industrial Technical College was established on December 4, 1998 under Decision 1272 of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee. In 2007, the school was upgraded to a vocational college under Decision 258 of the Minister of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs. Vietnam - Korea Industrial Technical College carries out the task of training technical workers at college, intermediate, and elementary vocational levels, retraining, advanced training, and job counseling after training.

Over the past 20 years, the Vietnam - Korea Industrial Technical College has continuously developed in scale and quality, affirming its position in the vocational education system; creating trust among the people, being a reliable address for businesses and vocational students; becoming a symbol of friendship and cooperation between Vietnam and Korea.

Over the past 20 years, the school has trained over 15,000 long-term vocational students, 2,500 short-term vocational students, nearly 20,000 workers learning Korean and providing orientation education for over 10,000 export workers. Over 85% of graduates have jobs in industrial parks and export processing zones in and outside the country.

Since 2002, the school has been continuously recognized as an excellent labor collective; awarded the First, Second and Third Class Labor Medals by the President; received many certificates of merit from the Prime Minister, ministries, branches and certificates of merit and emulation flags from the People's Committee of Nghe An province.

Currently, the Vietnam - Korea Industrial Technical College enrolls over 1,000 students every year, reaching a capacity of 3,000 students. In the period of 2018 - 2023, the school aims to become a high-quality vocational school of international standards; linking training with businesses, cooperating with many foreign schools to train advanced vocational skills; training in the application of 4.0 technology with the quality of greening sustainable vocational training.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee congratulated and praised the achievements of the Vietnam - Korea Industrial Technical College over the past 20 years and expressed his wish: In the coming time, the Vietnam - Korea Industrial Technical College will actively innovate its thinking, ways of thinking, ways of doing, management and teaching organization, teaching methods; effectively apply high technology in management and operation, improve the management capacity, teachers and staff.

At the ceremony, on behalf of the President, Comrade Le Minh Thong awarded the First Class Labor Medal of the President, the Emulation Flag of the Provincial People's Committee to the Vietnam - Korea Industrial Technical College; awarded the Third Class Labor Medal to teacher Ho Van Dam - Principal of the school; awarded certificates of merit of the Provincial People's Committee to students with outstanding achievements in national and international vocational competitions.
