Vietnam - Korea Industrial Technical College received the Government's Emulation Flag
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of December 4, Vietnam - Korea Industrial Technical College celebrated its 25th anniversary and received the Government's Emulation Flag.

Vietnam - Korea Industrial Technical College was established in 1998; after 2 name changes, it is now Vietnam - Korea Industrial Technical College.

The school is providing vocational training at three levels: college, intermediate and primary with the following majors: Industrial electronics; mechatronics; industrial electricity; welding technology; electrical installation and industrial control (automation electricity); air conditioning and refrigeration engineering (Refrigeration); mechanical equipment system maintenance; automotive technology... all at international level.
Over the past 25 years of establishment, the school has provided long-term vocational training for over 20,000 students; over 25,000 students have received short-term technical and Korean language training; nearly 20,000 workers have received orientation education before going to Korea to work.

Tens of thousands of students have jobs after graduation; over 4,000 students work and study to improve their qualifications in Korea, Japan, and Taiwan. Many students of the school have won high prizes in ASEAN skills competitions, world skills competitions, youth creativity competitions, startup ideas competitions, etc.

Promoting the achievements, entering the 2023-2028 period, Vietnam - Korea Industrial Technical College strives to complete the criteria of a high-quality college approaching the level of ASEAN countries; linking training with domestic and foreign enterprises, cooperating with foreign schools to train advanced vocational skills; training in applying 4.0 technology with the quality of greening sustainable vocational training.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Vietnam Choi Youngsam and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Dinh Long praised the efforts and achievements that generations of teachers and students of the school have achieved in recent times.

The comrades suggested that the school continue to innovate and develop vocational education to meet the requirements of industrialization, modernization and international integration; especially high-quality human resources in the new situation, in the spirit of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress. Nghe An is currently attracting many investment projects to the area, especially projects from Korea, so it is in great need of high-quality labor.

In that context, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Dinh Long suggested that the school should focus on 5 tasks; including taking advantage of effective support from the Korean Government, central and local agencies to build a strategy for vocational education development until 2030, with a vision to 2045.
In particular, the school needs to effectively promote projects invested by the Korean government, as well as other projects for the purpose of training human resources, closely connecting with businesses and labor-using units; actively and proactively integrating regionally and internationally in the field of training and vocational education, striving to become a high-quality school;...

On this occasion, the Government awarded the Emulation Flag to the collective of Vietnam - Korea Industrial Technical College for their excellent completion of all tasks, leading the patriotic emulation task of Nghe An province in the 2021-2022 school year; the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs awarded Certificates of Merit to 2 individuals. The Provincial People's Committee also awarded Certificates of Merit to 3 collectives and 2 individuals with outstanding achievements in the 2022-2023 school year.
