Nghe An Provincial Political School opens the 2024 Excellent Lecturer Competition
The contest will select the best lecturers to attend the National Excellent Lecturer Contest organized by the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics in 2025.
On the morning of November 4, Nghe An Provincial Political School held the opening ceremony of the 2024 School-level Excellent Lecturer Competition with the aim of continuing to improve the professional qualifications of lecturers, contributing to improving the quality of training and fostering cadres, meeting the requirements of building Nghe An Provincial Political School to meet level 2 standards according to Regulation No. 11, dated May 19, 2021 of the Central Party Secretariat.
The 2024 School-Level Excellent Teaching Competition was held with the participation of 6 lecturers currently teaching at Nghe An Provincial Political School.
To ensure the quality of the Competition, becoming a forum for exchanging experiences in training, fostering and scientific research among the school's teaching staff through stages such as lesson planning, preparation, teaching, management and assessment of students' learning outcomes, Nghe An Provincial Political School has developed a methodical plan, and at the same time implemented demonstration teaching from faculties with 45 lecturers participating. Through demonstration teaching activities at faculties, the best lecturers were selected to participate in the 2024 School-level Excellent Lecturer Competition.
The contest is organized with the aim of innovating teaching activities, innovating lecturer assessment activities, creating positive changes in training and fostering cadres; contributing to continuing to effectively implement Decision No. 6468, dated December 21, 2021 of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics on promulgating the Regulations on Management of Training and Fostering of Political Schools of Provinces and Central Cities and Decision No. 292, dated January 21, 2021 on promulgating the Training Program for Leaders and Managers at the grassroots level (Intermediate Political Theory system).
The organization of the contest also aims to promote the emulation movement of "good teaching, good learning", honor, create motivation, encourage and spread good teachers; create a basis for the school to build and perfect the training plan, foster the teaching staff, create motivation for teachers to strive, promote the emulation movement of good teaching, good research...
At the same time, through the School-level Excellent Lecturer Competition, select and send lecturers to attend the National Excellent Lecturer Competition organized by the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics in 2025.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the contest, comrade Vuong Quang Minh - Party Secretary, Principal of Nghe An Provincial Political School, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Contest emphasized that the 2024 School-level Excellent Lecturer Contest will create conditions for the school's teaching staff to research, enrich and deepen the content of lectures, deeply improve teaching methods and means, apply active teaching methods, use and flexibly combine teaching methods. Focus on integrating the content of protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against erroneous and hostile views into lectures; linking theory with the reality of the locality, the country and the world.
At the same time, through the Competition, we will enhance the exchange and learning of experiences to improve the professional qualifications and pedagogical skills of the teaching staff in all stages: lesson preparation, preparation, teaching, management and assessment of students' learning outcomes; helping lecturers continue to improve their spirit, sense of professional responsibility and professional sentiment.
The Principal of Nghe An Provincial Political School also set out requirements for lecturers participating in the contest to fully develop their abilities and professional experience to carry out the lecture content well, fully and seriously implement the regulations of the Contest; for the Examination Council, it is necessary to uphold the sense of responsibility, ensure objective and accurate evaluation, and for lecturers in the school to fully participate to absorb and draw experience for themselves, in order to improve the quality of teaching.
Immediately after the opening ceremony, the contestants directly taught the topic "Ho Chi Minh's thoughts on the People and great national unity".
