Nghe An Provincial Political School organizes a seminar on 50 years of national reunification

Comrades: Nguyen Thi Hong Hoa - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; Vuong Quang Minh - Principal of the Provincial Political School; Duong Thanh Binh - Vice Principal of the Provincial Political School chaired the workshop.

In his opening speech, comrade Vuong Quang Minh affirmed that, with the special historical significance of the victory of April 30, 1975 and the 50th anniversary of the victory of the resistance war against the invading American imperialists, this conference, in addition to contributing scientific values, also has the task of conveying and strongly spreading the spirit of patriotism, promoting the high awareness and responsibility of each organization, agency, unit and individual, continuing the spirit of "Nothing is more precious than independence and freedom" of the Vietnamese people and the tradition of "Red Nghe Tinh", "Heroic Soviet" in the homeland of Nghe An today.

At the workshop, comrade Phan Thi Minh Ly - Head of the Department of Political Theory and Party History, Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Provincial Party Committee gave a speech on the topic: "Nghe An in the resistance war against the US to save the country - Heroic historical pages about the combination of Party's will and people's hearts in the heroic Soviet homeland".

During the great resistance war against the US to save the country of our people, Nghe An was a solid base of Military Region 4, one of the important bases of the whole country and of the whole Indochina battlefield, a direct gateway from the North to support the South, and a place for the Central to deploy forces when entering the battle. Nghe An and the provinces in Military Region 4 were the direct rear of the Southern frontline and the frontline of the great rear of the socialist North, together with the whole country, for the whole country, overcoming all challenges and dangers, striving to gain complete victory in the resistance war and national construction.

The workshop listened to Colonel Pham Dinh Trung - Deputy Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command present a speech: "Nghe An army and people in the resistance war against the US, saving the country - Glorious feats of arms and valuable historical lessons". From the practice of building, fighting, growing up and the feats of arms of Nghe An army and people in the resistance war against the US, saving the country have left valuable lessons in both theory and practice, which can be summarized into 4 contents:

Firstly, always thoroughly grasp and creatively apply all guidelines, policies and lines of the Party and State and Ho Chi Minh's thought on building the people's armed forces and building all-people national defense to local reality.

Second, build armed forces as the core for people's war and national defense under the leadership of the Party, directly of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee.

Third, promote the strength of the entire political system, build a people's war posture, national defense, and fight together with the whole country to win the national liberation revolution, build and defend the Fatherland.

Fourth, proactively coordinate with the strength of the whole country and Laos to successfully carry out the task of fighting for national liberation, building and defending the Fatherland.

The conference also heard many valuable presentations such as: "Truong Bon - A strategic traffic route contributing to the great victory of Spring 1975"; "The great victory of Spring 30/4/1975 of the Vietnamese revolution and the bitter defeat of the US imperialists and their reactionary forces and lackeys - Undeniable historical truth"; "The Military Region 4 Museum with the work of preserving and promoting the military cultural heritage of the army and people of Military Region 4 in the resistance war against the US to save the country";...

In her concluding remarks at the workshop, Comrade Nguyen Thi Hong Hoa - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department acknowledged that the presentations were all carefully invested, serious, of high quality, closely following the topic, including articles that collected valuable documents and information of important historical significance, which are vivid and eloquent evidence, reviving history.

From the presentations, the Organizing Committee of the Workshop concluded a number of core lessons on the leadership role of the Communist Party of Vietnam; promoting the strength of national solidarity; consolidating the people's hearts and minds, consolidating the people's trust in the Party, the State, and the armed forces; the spirit of pride in the revolutionary history, "self-reliance, self-strengthening",...
