Phan Boi Chau High School: 2 students participate in Asian Physics Olympiad

(Baonghean.vn) -According to official information from the Department of Testing and Quality Control - Ministry of Education and Training on the afternoon of April 7, the results of the exam to select the Vietnamese team to participate in the 2014 Asian Physics Olympiad, in Physics, 8 students were strictly selected through 3 days of exams in Hanoi to join the Vietnamese team to participate in the Asian Physics Olympiad held in Singapore on May 15, 2014.

The members of the Vietnamese team come from the Natural Science Department of Hanoi National University, the Natural Science Department of Ho Chi Minh City National University, Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, Luong Van Tuy High School for the Gifted - Ninh Binh and Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted - Nghe An.

Notably, among the 8 students, 2 are from Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted: Cao Ngoc Thai (grade 12, Physics major) ranked 2nd/8 in the team and was considered for the International Olympic team; Nguyen Ngoc Khanh (grade 11A3, Physics major) ranked 7th/8.

Once again, Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted is the provincial-level specialized high school with the most students nationwide. This is also the specialized school that has continuously had the most students participating and has won the most medals (from gold, silver, bronze and certificates of merit) nationwide in the Asian Physics Olympiad and International Physics Olympiad over the past 10 years.
