Nguyen Tat Thanh University offers flowers and reports to Uncle Ho

(Baonghean.vn) – On the morning of November 10, teachers and students of Nguyen Tat Thanh University, Ho Chi Minh City offered flowers in memory and reported their achievements at the Ho Chi Minh Monument at Ho Chi Minh Square, Vinh City.

Attending the ceremony, on behalf of Nghe An province, there were comrade Hoang Viet Duong - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Council and representatives of a number of provincial departments and branches.

On the side of Nguyen Tat Thanh University, there were Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Manh Hung - Principal of the school, along with staff, teachers and 100 students of the school.

In a solemn atmosphere, leaders of Nghe An province and staff and students of Nguyen Tat Thanh University respectfully offered Uncle Ho a beautiful flower basket, expressing their infinite gratitude and deep respect for the great ideology and noble life of President Ho Chi Minh.

Fulfilling Uncle Ho's last wish, Nguyen Tat Thanh University - the school honored to be named after Uncle Ho in his youth, has constantly competed in studying, training and creating. Over the years, the school has always clearly identified the responsibility of investing in education and training as contributing to the common development of the country, as an investment for future generations.

Afterwards, the Management Board of Ho Chi Minh Square and Uncle Ho Statue and Nguyen Tat Thanh University held a discussion and signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in political, ideological, ethical and lifestyle education for students.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Comrade Hoang Viet Duong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council congratulated Nguyen Tat Thanh University on its high achievements in education; expressed his emotion at the sincerity of teachers and students for the homeland of President Ho Chi Minh; and wished the school to continue to develop and become a home for intellectuals in Vietnam.

This is a meaningful activity of Nguyen Tat Thanh University to celebrate the 34th anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day and to commemorate teacher Nguyen Tat Thanh, as well as to strengthen educational orientation, consolidate youth ideology on patriotism, national pride, strive to become good citizens, and contribute to the cause of national construction and development.

As planned, this afternoon, the delegation will visit Uncle Ho's hometown in Kim Lien commune, Nam Dan district, Nghe An.
