This is the content stated by the Government in Resolution No. 40/NQ-CP on the regular Government meeting in April 2017.

Accordingly, the Government affirmed that it will implement the poverty reduction policy for poor households according to the previous income criteria; at the same time, it will support 100% of the health insurance premium for multidimensional poor households lacking health insurance criteria, and support 70% of the health insurance premium for multidimensional poor households lacking other basic social services; in which, the health insurance support policy for multidimensional poor households lacking basic social services will be implemented from May 10.

In addition, regarding corporate income tax on bank deposit interest of public higher education institutions piloting the innovation of operating mechanisms, the Government agrees with the proposal of the Ministry of Finance: Income from bank deposit interest of public higher education institutions piloting the innovation of operating mechanisms according to Resolution No. 77/NQ-CP dated October 24, 2014 must be declared and paid corporate income tax according to current regulations.

The state budget supports funds equivalent to the amount of corporate income tax that these higher education institutions have actually paid from 2016 to the end of the pilot period.

In particular, the Government is determined and consistent in achieving the economic growth target of 6.7% in 2017. The specific growth rates of each region and some important sectors of the economy are as follows:

- The agricultural sector grew by 3.05%. Of which, the total export turnover of agricultural products reached over 33 billion USD;

- The industrial and construction sector grew by 7.91%. Of which, the industrial sector grew by 8%; the processing and manufacturing industry grew by 13%; the electricity production and distribution industry grew by 11.5%; and the construction industry grew by 10.5%.

- Service sector grew by 7.19%. Of which, growth in tourists was 30%.
