Head of Department of Natural Resources and Environment illegally granted public land to the wife of the district chairman
Six officials of a district, including the head of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment (TN-MT), legalized documents to issue a red book of public land to the district chairman's wife.

The four officials prosecuted include: Nguyen Ngoc Kha (former Chairman of the District Party Committee's Inspection Commission, former Head of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment), Nguyen Huu Son (officer of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Tuy Duc district), Tran Trong Dai (Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Dak Buk So commune, former cadastral officer of Dak R'tih commune) and Nguyen Thanh Tuan (Chairman of the People's Committee of Dak R'tih commune, former Head of the District's Economic - Infrastructure Department).
The four officials were prosecuted to clarify the act of confirming documents to grant red books for 15 hectares of land leased from the State in Dak R'tih commune to Ms. Truong Thi Thoai (wife of Mr. Tran Dinh Manh, former Secretary, former Chairman of Tuy Duc District People's Committee, currently Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Dak Nong province).
Previously, on January 19, the Dak Nong Provincial People's Procuracy also approved the decisions to prosecute and issue temporary detention orders for Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tri (Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Tam Commune, former Deputy Head of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, and Director of the Tuy Duc District Land Registration Office) and Nguyen Thanh An (officer of the Tuy Duc District Land Registration Office) to investigate the same acts.
In addition to being prosecuted for his involvement in the above land, Mr. Tri was also prosecuted to clarify his act of advising district leaders to divide up national defense land in the Bu Boong airport area (Dak Buk So commune, Tuy Duc district) for a series of relatives of many officials of this district.
