The predecessor is Anh Son Work-Study High School,Anh Son 3 High School was establishedEstablished in 1976 in Gia Oi village, Hoi Son commune, Anh Son district.

From 1991 to 1998, the school was named Anh Son 3 Secondary and High School. In 1998, it was merged into two schools: Dinh Son Secondary School and Anh Son 3 High School.
