On the evening of September 26, the Provincial Ethnic Minority High School held an award ceremony for teachers and students with high achievements in teaching and learning activities in the 2019-2020 school year.

The ceremony to commend teachers and students with high achievements in teaching and learning activities is an annual activity that has been maintained for many years by the Provincial Ethnic Minority High School.
Particularly in the last school year, due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic, students had to take a long break from school, but with the motto "temporarily stop going to school, not stop learning", the school still strived to achieve many remarkable results.

Among them, the school has 2 students Lau Nguyen Huong Giang and Luong Quynh Nga who won the first prize in the provincial Science and Technology competition with the project "Nghe An Ethnic Minority Students with the preservation and development of the traditional brocade weaving village of Xieng village, Mon Son commune, Con Cuong district".
At the 19th Phu Dong Sports Festival of the province, the school won 3 first prizes, 3 second prizes and 2 third prizes.
In particular, inHigh school graduation exam 2020,The school has a 100% graduation rate. The school has 1 student honored by the Provincial People's Committee at the ceremony to honor students who won international and national awards and students with high scores. The number of students with high scores in History and Geography ranked 2nd, and in Civic Education ranked 3rd. The school ranked 3rd in the province with the C group.

Speaking at the ceremony, Principal Nguyen Thi Kieu Hoa affirmed: Students with high scores and good academic achievements are typical examples in the emulation movement of good teaching and good learning, and are brilliant flowers in the colorful flower garden of the Provincial Ethnic Minority High School.

The school principal also hopes that, from the results achieved, the students will continue to strive, overcome all difficulties to study well, conquer the pinnacle of knowledge, become talented and dedicated citizens, meeting the demand for high-quality human resources for the homeland.
At the ceremony, with the aim of encouraging and motivating students with good academic achievements, the school's Board of Directors presented certificates of merit and rewards to 15 students with high scores in the 2020 High School Graduation Exam with a total value of 45 million VND.

On this occasion, the Director of the Department of Education and Training of Nghe An also gave 10 gifts to 10 students who were valedictorians of the subjects in the 2020 High School Graduation Exam. The Provincial Ethnic Minorities Committee gave 30 gifts to poor students who overcame difficulties and studied well.
The school also rewarded students who won prizes in the Science and Technology Competition, Phu Dong Sports Festival and students who achieved high scores in the 2020 Grade 10 Entrance Exam. Rewarded teachers with high achievements in student training.

On this occasion, the school also established the “Lighting up Dreams” Fund to call for support and assistance from organizations, businesses, units and former students of the school to support and help disadvantaged students and students who have achieved academic and training achievements. On the first day of its launch, the fund raised more than 400 million VND.
Provincial Ethnic Minority High Schoolis a place to train high-quality cadres for the mountainous districts of the province. Currently, there are more than 500 students of Thai, Tho, Mong, Kho Mu, O Du ethnic groups living and studying at the school.
In the last school year, the school was recognized as an Excellent Advanced School and was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Central Youth Union.
