Le Viet Thuat and Huynh Thuc Khang High Schools won first prize at the 'Drug-free School' Contest
On September 21, at Ha Huy Tap High School, Vinh City, the Department of Drug Crime Investigation (Ministry of Public Security) and the Department of Political Education and Student Affairs (Ministry of Education and Training) hosted the "Drug-Free School" Contest.

The contest is organized with the aim of propagating the Law on Drug Prevention and Control, enhancing understanding and equipping students with knowledge about the dangers and harms of drugs.drugfor health. At the same time, help children identify drugs, especially synthetic drugs disguised as food, drinks, electronic cigarettes, etc. The contest was recorded and broadcast on VTV2 channel and digital platforms of Vietnam Television.

Participating in the "Drug-free School" contest held in Nghe An this time, there are 6 teams from the following schools: Ha Huy Tap High School, Le Viet Thuat High School, Hermann Gmeiner High School, Huynh Thuc Khang High School, Provincial Ethnic Minority High School and Nguyen Truong To High School.

Organized in the form of a television game show, the teams went through 4 rounds, including: Introduction, Knowledge, Eloquence and Talent.
With careful preparation, the teams performed extremely enthusiastically and excitingly.

In particular, in the talent competition, with a familiar context and language, the students chose to directly exploit situations related to drugs that may be present around the school environment. Thereby, conveying a lot of useful information, aiming to enhance understanding and equip students with knowledge about the dangers and harms of drugs.

As a result of the competition, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize to Le Viet Thuat High School and Huynh Thuc Khang High School; the second prize to Ha Huy Tap High School and Nguyen Truong To High School; the third prize to Hermann Gmeiner High School and the provincial Ethnic Boarding High School.
