Phan Thuc Truc High School (Yen Thanh) received the Third Class Labor Medal

(Baonghean.vn) – On the morning of November 15, Phan Thuc Truc High School (Yen Thanh) held a ceremony to celebrate its 40th anniversary (1975 – 2015) and received the Third Class Labor Medal.

Attending the ceremony were comrade Ho Phuc Hop - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission; representatives of the Department of Education and Training; leaders of Yen Thanh district and many generations of teachers and students of the school.

Phan Thuc Truc High School (Yen Thanh) was established in early September 1975, located in the southern communes of Yen Thanh district. Established in the years when the country had just emerged from the war, the opening of general high schools was still very limited, so the school was initially named Yen Thanh Co-operative High School.

In August 1993, the People's Committee of Nghe An province issued a decision to change the school's name to Phan Thuc Truc High School, and in January 1996, according to the new Education Law, it was called Phan Thuc Truc High School.

Mr. Nguyen Trong Giap - Party Cell Secretary, School Principal reviewed the 40-year tradition of building and growing Phan Thuc Truc High School.

From a school with only 4 classes, the classrooms were mainly "thatched houses with mud walls" with 29 cadres, teachers and staff; up to now, it has stabilized 39 classes with nearly 1,500 students, teaching equipment meeting national standards, a team of cadres and teachers of 94 people, all of whom are qualified, 15% have master's degrees.

The graduation rate is always 98% - 100%. The rate of teachers who are excellent at the provincial level and students who are excellent at the provincial level increases rapidly every year. In April 2013, the school achieved the national standard title.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Ho Phuc Hop acknowledged and praised the efforts and achievements of the teachers and students of the school. He affirmed that Phan Thuc Truc High School is the pride of Yen Thanh district. From this bright spot, the education sector of the district in particular and Nghe An province in general need to replicate and spread the good and creative teaching methods of the school, bringing the education of the province to achieve more and more achievements.

Mr. Nguyen Viet Hung - Standing Deputy Secretary, Chairman of Yen Thanh District People's Council awarded certificates of merit from the Provincial People's Committee to individuals with outstanding achievements.

On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the establishment, authorized by the President, Comrade Ho Phuc Hop - Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, awarded the Third Class Labor Medal to the teachers and students of Phan Thuc Truc High School. At the same time, teachers with outstanding achievements in management and teaching were awarded certificates of merit by the Ministry of Education and Training and the People's Committee of Nghe An province.
