Tuong Duong 1 High School celebrates its 50th anniversary
(Baonghean.vn)- On November 15, 2015, Tuong Duong 1 High School celebrated its 50th anniversary (1965-2015) and received a Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister.
Attending the ceremony were members of the Provincial Party Committee: Nguyen Thi Kim Chi - Director of the Department of Education and Training; Luong Thanh Hai - Head of the Ethnic Minorities and Mountainous Areas Committee; Pham Trong Hoang - Secretary of the Tuong Duong District Party Committee and many generations of teachers and students of the school.

Established in 1965 under the name of Tuong Duong Secondary and High School, over the past half century, along with the development of the homeland and the country, Tuong Duong 1 High School has continuously grown and achieved proud achievements. More than 15 thousand students of the school gather under this roof, all contributing to writing the glorious tradition of a school in the remote border area.
Inheriting and promoting the achievements, teachers and students of Tuong Duong High School continue to overcome difficulties to achieve comprehensive results, actively maintain student numbers and improve quality.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Nguyen Thi Kim Chi acknowledged the achievements and contributions of the school over the past 50 years and hoped that generations of teachers and students of the school would uphold the tradition, follow in the footsteps of previous generations, and be worthy of being the cradle of training students in the Western region of Nghe An.
On this occasion, Tuong Duong 1 High School was honored to receive a Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister; 7 individuals were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Provincial People's Committee.
