On November 14, Nghe An Ethnic Boarding Secondary School held the opening ceremony of the new school year.
Attending the opening ceremony were Mr. Doan Hong Vu - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs; representatives of provincial departments and branches; representatives of Con Cuong district leaders and teachers and students of the school through generations.
As a vocational school located in the mountainous district of Con Cuong, an area with a large ethnic minority population, the school's enrollment work has encountered many difficulties in recent times.


Over the past school years, the school has overcome difficulties, focused on improving the quality of teaching and learning, and focused on innovative solutions for management and quality control of vocational training.
To date,Nghe An Ethnic Boarding Secondary Schoolis one of 18 specialized schools nationwide providing vocational training for ethnic minorities; selected as a key vocational school, with the task of providing vocational training at intermediate and elementary levels and consulting and introducing jobs to workers, contributing to promoting the socio-economic development of the southwestern mountainous districts of the province.

Last school year, the whole school had 36 intermediate classes with 878 students. The academic ranking results: Good and Excellent accounted for 10.6%.
During the school year, the school successfully organized a student startup idea competition at the school level with 19 participating projects. There were 2 student startup idea projects participating at the provincial level, winning the third prize overall, 1 project won the second prize; 4 teachers participating in the provincial vocational education teacher competition all won high prizes. Of which: 3 second prizes, 1 third prize, ranked second overall. There was 1 teacher who achieved the title of National Excellent Teacher in Ha Long City, Quang Ninh Province this November.

Also in the past school year, the school participated in the provincial self-made training equipment competition and both devices won high prizes: 1 first prize, 1 second prize, and second place overall; The school awarded scholarships to encourage learning for 30 students with excellent achievements, totaling 167 million VND.

During the past school year, the school coordinated with the Provincial Employment Service Center and the People's Committees of districts to organize and participate in 36 vocational counseling and job introduction sessions for students and workers in the area.
Speaking at the Opening Ceremony, Director of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs Doan Hong Vu praised the efforts that the school has achieved in recent school years.
In the 2024-2025 school year as well as the following school years, the school needs to focus on innovating teaching, coordinating with local authorities, units and businesses to train many generations of young people in ethnic minority areas, remote areas with solid skills, ethics, confidence, ambition and desire to work, meeting the increasingly high demands of the labor market in and outside the province...
