Nghe An Vocational College of Economics - Industry - Handicraft received the Second Class Labor Medal

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 6, Nghe An Vocational College of Economics - Industry - Handicrafts celebrated its 15th anniversary (2001 - 2016) and received the Second Class Labor Medal.

Attending the ceremony were comrade Le Minh Thong - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of provincial departments, branches, generations, cadres and teachers of the school.

After 15 years of construction and development, Nghe An Vocational College of Economics - Industry - Handicrafts has done well in training traditional handicrafts associated with craft villages and production facilities, both restoring and developing traditional occupations, researching and introducing new occupations, and teaching vocational skills.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Minh Thong hopes that the school needs to focus all resources to build the school into a place to create high-quality human resources for the province.

From 2002 to present, the school has organized vocational training for nearly 22,000 workers; provided over 19,600 trained workers for 133 craft villages and more than 400 craft villages in the province; nearly 5,000 workers for enterprises, cooperatives, handicraft production facilities and other production facilities... Many workers have become business owners, foremen, vocational teachers in craft villages and production facilities, contributing to solving employment for workers, while creating human resources to build 133 craft villages and more than 400 craft villages in the province...

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Le Minh Thong highly appreciated the school's persistent efforts in improving the quality of vocational training over the past 15 years.

Authorized by the President, the provincial leaders awarded the Second Class Labor Medal to Nghe An Vocational College of Economics - Industry - Handicraft.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee expressed his wish: Currently, many domestic and foreign investors have invested in Nghe An and will need quality labor, so the school needs to focus all resources to build the school into a high-quality human resource of the province; continue to invest in facilities; expand the scale of training types; innovate training methods and effectiveness; training programs meet output standards; promote career counseling...

At the same time, it is necessary to plan a roadmap for investing in modern equipment, improving the quality of the teaching staff; and perfecting the criteria to upgrade the school to a vocational college.

Outstanding individuals of the School received certificates of merit from the Provincial People's Committee.

On this occasion, Nghe An Vocational College of Economics - Industry - Handicrafts was honored to receive the Second Class Labor Medal (2011 - 2015 period) from the President; the Provincial People's Committee awarded the emulation flag for excellently completing all tasks, leading the patriotic emulation movement in 2015; 4 individuals were awarded certificates of merit by the Provincial People's Committee for their achievements in building and developing the school.
