Manhunt for drunk husband who killed wife on the third night of Tet

As of 11:50 p.m. on the third day of Lunar New Year (January 30), the Criminal Police Department of Vinh Long Province was still investigating the scene of a serious crime in Dong Thuan Ward (Binh Minh Town, Vinh Long Province). At the same time, the police were also hunting for the perpetrator.
According to initial information, at around 10pm the same day, Mr. Kim Hoa (about 40 years old, residing in Dong Thuan ward) used a sharp object to stab his wife, Mrs. Sa-Rieng (about 40 years old, residing at the same address) to death in the kitchen area of the house. After committing the crime, Mr. Hoa fled the area.
According to many people living near the scene, Mr. Hoa is a heavy drinker. “This afternoon, I saw Mr. Hoa and Mrs. Sa-Rieng both drunk, wandering around the neighborhood. They often drink constantly, and when drunk, they refuse to go home but often hang around many neighbors’ houses to find people to drink with,” said a resident.
The serious case is currently being investigated by Vinh Long Provincial Police.
