Arrest of speeding driver carrying drugs, hitting traffic police
When the traffic police signaled to stop his car for speeding, Phu not only refused to comply but also revved the engine and crashed straight into the task force and then ran away.
On the evening of January 26, information from the Krong Buk Traffic Police Station - Traffic Police Department of Dak Lak Provincial Police said that the unit had just handed over Ngo Van Phu (24 years old, residing in Pleiku City, Gia Lai Province) to the Krong Buk District Police to investigate under their authority for the act of "Illegal possession of narcotics".
Previously, at around 3:45 p.m. the same day, at Km 1703 on Ho Chi Minh Road through Ea Khanh Commune, Ea H'leo District, Dak Lak Province, a patrol team of the Krong Buk Traffic Police Station led by Captain Le Dinh Hoa discovered a car with license plate 30E-047.14 driven by Phu traveling from Gia Lai to Dak Lak at excessive speed, so they signaled to stop for inspection.

However, the driver not only did not obey the order but also stepped on the gas, crashed straight into the working group and then fled.
Immediately, the traffic police used a special vehicle to chase and arrest him. On the way to escape, Phu drove at high speed, weaving in and out of traffic, endangering other road users. Seeing this, the pursuit force called another nearby patrol team to organize an arrest.

When Phu drove to Km 1723+500 in Chu Kpo commune, Krong Buk district, he discovered a patrol team waiting for him, so he stopped the car about 300 meters away. Immediately, the pursuit team and the checkpoint team quickly rushed in to control and arrest the subject. At the time of arrest, in addition to Phu driving, there was also Truong Van Dong (34 years old, residing in Binh Dinh province) in the car.
After the arrest, the task force drew up a record of violations of "Speeding" and "Failure to comply with orders to stop" against Phu.
During the investigation, the task force discovered that both subjects showed many unusual signs, so they inspected the vehicle. Through the inspection, the task force discovered that the vehicle contained a package of crystal meth (about 5g) and some tools related to drug use.
Initially, Phu and Dong confessed to buying the above drugs in Pleiku City and bringing them to Dak Lak for use.
The case is currently being investigated and clarified by the Krong Buk District Police.
