Chase, shoot and capture 2 dangerous robbers on the street

The reconnaissance team followed and caught the two subjects in the act of stealing property, so they organized a chase. On the way to escape, they pulled out knives and fought back fiercely, continuing to commit robbery, forcing the reconnaissance team to open fire to suppress them.

The police of District 9, Ho Chi Minh City, are currently detaining two suspects, Le Hoang Minh (born in 1978, currently homeless) and Thai Tong Thanh Hoa (born in 1995, living in District 1), to investigate and handle the acts of "theft of property" and "robbery". Among them, Minh is extremely dangerous, having had 3 previous convictions for crimes such as: theft, robbery and illegal drug trafficking.

According to initial information, on the afternoon of May 29, a group of detectives from the Drug Crime Investigation Team, District 9 Police, while patrolling the area, discovered Minh and Hoa riding a motorbike with a suspicious backpack in front. Therefore, the detectives immediately followed them.

The two suspects are said to have roamed many streets in District 9, then broken into a house in Quarter 1, Tang Nhon Phu A Ward, District 9, to steal property.

Specifically, one subject kept watch outside, another subject climbed over the fence and got inside, then a few minutes later climbed out and escaped with his accomplices. The reconnaissance team moved in to arrest them; however, the two subjects pulled out knives to fight back and sped away on their motorbike.

A fierce chase ensued. During that time, the scouts forced and blocked the car, causing both of them to fall, but they abandoned the car and continued to run away on foot. One of the suspects pulled out a knife and waved it around, but was shot by the scouts, who, in coordination with the people, quickly captured him.

Another subject fled to area 1, Tang Nhon Phu B ward, then approached, pulled out a knife and controlled a woman who was sitting on a motorbike with two small children with the intention of stealing the motorbike and using it as a means of escape. However, detectives quickly approached, took away the weapon, and arrested this subject.

When arrested, Minh and Hoa confessed that they were on their way to steal property. Searching their backpacks, the police confiscated many tools such as: pliers, screwdrivers, short locks, daggers, etc.
