Raid on a drug den where weapons were found.

(Baonghean.vn) -Acting on information received from the public about a drug trafficking, storage, and use hotspot in the area, at 7 PM on August 23rd, Nhon Mai Border Guard Station, in coordination with the Anti-Drug Crime Prevention Department (Nghe An Border Guard Command), organized a covert operation involving 10 officers and soldiers to raid the aforementioned drug trafficking and storage location.

After many hours of marching through the forest, at 0:15 AM on August 24th, the undercover forces suddenly raided a field hut and arrested Lo Xuan Tuyet (born in 1960) and Lo Thi Tuyet (Lo Xuan Tuyet's wife, born in 1959, both residing in Nhon Mai village, Nhon Mai commune, Tuong Duong district, Nghe An province) who were organizing the buying, selling, storing, and using of drugs. The seized items included 9 packets of heroin and 1 lump of heroin, 2 small scales, 2 loaded muzzle-loading rifles, and 6,780,000 Vietnamese Dong.

The Nhon Mai Border Guard Station has initiated a criminal case and handed over the suspect and evidence to the Tuong Duong District Police for further investigation and processing.
