Posthumously awarded the title of Heroic Vietnamese Mother
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of April 5, the Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Xuan Tuong commune (Thanh Chuong) solemnly held a ceremony to posthumously award the noble title "Heroic Vietnamese Mother" to mother Nguyen Thi Tuan.
Mother Nguyen Thi Tuan, born in 1881, had an only son, martyr Nguyen Phung Binh, who died in the Nghe Tinh Soviet movement 1930-1931.

The ceremony was held based on Decision No. 2729/QD-CTN dated December 29, 2017 of the President on posthumously awarding the State Title "Heroic Vietnamese Mother", to honor mothers who have made many contributions and sacrifices for the cause of national liberation, protecting the Fatherland and fulfilling international obligations.
