Collecting over 11 billion VND in taxes on motorbike business in Nghe An

(Baonghean.vn) - In an effort to reduce tax losses, Nghe An Tax Department has implemented many positive solutions. In particular, in 2016, the Tax Department implemented a project to combat tax losses for motorbike trading activities in the province. This solution has collected more than 11 billion VND for the budget.

Implementing the project, the Tax Department has strengthened the review of enterprises and motorbike businesses based on the regulation on the minimum threshold of gross profit margin that each enterprise must achieve. As a result, enterprises declared additional revenue in 2015 of nearly 44 billion VND, with additional tax payable of more than 10 billion VND (after offsetting losses, incentives, etc.).

In the first months of 2016, the Tax Department also declared additional revenue of motorbike businesses of nearly VND 18 billion, with additional value added tax of nearly VND 1.8 billion. On that basis, businesses operating in this field have stably declared revenue and paid taxes according to the threshold prescribed by the Tax Department.
