Search for driver who hit and killed a street sweeper and fled
A sanitation worker from the Urban Environment Company was hit and killed by a 7-seater car. The driver then left the scene.
Mr. Lam Bao Xuyen, Chairman of Ward 6 People's Committee, Ca Mau City, Ca Mau Province, said that a traffic accident had just occurred in the area, killing a garbage collector.

Accordingly, at around 3:35 a.m. today (July 22), Ms. Trinh Thi Thu (48 years old, residing in Ward 8, Ca Mau City), an employee of the Ca Mau Urban Environment Company, was cleaning on Ly Thuong Kiet Street in Area 1, Ward 6, Ca Mau City when she was hit by a 7-seat car. Immediately after that, the driver who caused the accident drove away. The accident victim was confirmed dead at the scene.
Currently, the authorities are searching for the driver who caused the accident and investigating and clarifying the incident.
