Authorities are searching for the car that hit and injured a person and then fled the scene.

The accident occurred at 9 PM on May 24th on National Highway 36, in the section passing through Quynh Loc commune, Hoang Mai town.

According to witnesses, at the time of the incident, two young men were riding a motorbike with license plate 37L1 - 637.62. As they reached the intersection in Hamlet 5, Quynh Loc Commune, they were suddenly hit by a car, causing both men on the motorbike to be thrown onto the road and rendered unconscious at the scene.

After causing the accident, the car fled the scene. Upon discovering the accident, residents living along the road helped take the victims to the hospital and called the traffic police of Hoang Mai town.

At the scene, the motorbike was completely wrecked with many pieces; there were many bloodstains on the road.

Traffic police were present at the scene to regulate traffic and mobilized forces to search for the hit-and-run vehicle.
