Live broadcast of the flag-raising ceremony in Truong Sa.

At 6:00 AM on June 7th, VTV1 and VTV6 will broadcast live the flag-raising ceremony of the military and people of Truong Sa Island, along with the flag-raising ceremony at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. This is the first activity in response to Vietnam's Sea and Islands Week.

A representative from VTV6 (Vietnam Television) stated that the flag-raising ceremony will last 10 minutes on VTV1 and 30 minutes on VTV6. It will include singing the national anthem, saluting the flag, and interviews with soldiers and civilians on Truong Sa Island about their first time participating in a flag-raising ceremony with the mainland.

The program "Hanoi - Truong Sa: Our Sea and Islands" aims to raise awareness of the strategic role, position, and immense potential value of Vietnam's sea and islands; to encourage pride and love among the people for the sovereignty of the sea and islands and the history of defending that sovereignty by our ancestors. In addition, the program aims to enhance the sense of responsibility of each individual and organization in exploiting and protecting the resources from the sea and islands to develop the economy and maintain the sacred sovereignty of the Fatherland.

After June 7th, VTV's flag-raising ceremony program will always include images of the flag being raised from the beloved Truong Sa archipelago of our homeland.
