Live broadcast of the flag-raising ceremony in Truong Sa

At 6am on June 7, VTV1 and VTV6 channels will broadcast live the flag-raising ceremony of the army and people of Truong Sa Lon island and the flag-raising ceremony at President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. This is the first activity in response to Vietnam Sea and Islands Week.

A representative of VTV6 (Vietnam Television) said that the flag-raising ceremony will last 10 minutes on VTV1 and 30 minutes on VTV6. It will include singing the national anthem, saluting the flag, and interviewing the emotions of the soldiers and people on Truong Sa Lon island when they join the flag-raising ceremony with the mainland for the first time.

The program "Hanoi - Truong Sa Television Bridge: Our Sea and Islands" aims to raise awareness of the role, strategic position and great potential value of Vietnam's sea and islands; encourage people's pride and love for the sovereignty of the sea and islands and the history of protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands of our ancestors. In addition, the program also raises the sense of responsibility of each individual and organization in exploiting and protecting the benefits of the sea and islands to develop the economy and maintain the sacred sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland.

After June 7, VTV's flag-raising program will always include images of the flag-raising ceremony from the beloved Truong Sa archipelago of the Fatherland.
