Cuban media reports extensively on President Diaz-Canel's visit to Vietnam

On the very first day President Diaz-Canel arrived in Vietnam, all newspapers and official websites of the Caribbean island nation such as Granma, Juventud Rebelde, Cubadebate, Prensa Latina and the Cuban State News Agency (ACN) simultaneously reported on their front pages all the activities and contacts of the Cuban leader during this memorable visit.
Cubadebate website quoted President Diaz-Canel's sharing on his personal Twitter account during his visit to Vietnam, he expressed: "There are many things to learn from our Vietnamese brothers, who have overcome war, embargo, and the consequences of underdevelopment, through exemplary labor, creativity and discipline."
The Cuban leader also highly appreciated the results of meetings with senior Vietnamese leaders, affirming the commitment of both sides to raise the level of economic relations to the same level as political relations.
Vietnam is the fifth destination in President Miguel Diaz-Canel's tour of European and Asian countries. He previously stopped in France, and made official visits to Russia, North Korea, and China. The final country on the Cuban president's tour this time is the Lao People's Democratic Republic.
