According to the regulations of the Ministry of Transport in Circular No. 10, from July 1, 2015, the inspection of the chassis of passenger vehicles with 16 seats or more, trucks and tractors with a permitted weight of 10 tons or more, manufactured over 7 years, must be directly inspected and evaluated by a high-level motor vehicle inspector. At the same time, the person in charge of the inspection lines must also have high-level inspection skills.

According to the new regulations, a high-level inspector is a person who has had three years or more of experience, can translate basic technical specifications of cars in English, and has passed an advanced training course, and has been certified by the Vietnam Register for high-level qualifications. Mr. Dao Ngoc Xuat, Director of the Training Center, Vietnam Register, said that in order to provide high-level human resources for inspection units nationwide, from 2014 to now, the center has trained and recognized the qualifications of 220 high-level inspectors.

On April 15, 2015, the center opened another training class for 48 students in the Northern provinces and plans to open another class in the South this month.
