(Baonghean.vn) - From August 19, 2019 to September 20, 2019, Nghe An will inspect compliance with food safety regulations during the 2019 Mid-Autumn Festival.
Nghe An Provincial People's Committee has just issued Decision No. 3116/QD-UBND on inspection of compliance with regulations on ensuring food safety during the 2019 Mid-Autumn Festival in Nghe An province.
Accordingly, the interdisciplinary inspection team will inspect compliance with the law on ensuring food safety in the production, processing, trading, and import of food and catering services; inspect state management of food safety in districts, cities, and towns in Nghe An province at food safety advisory and management agencies of districts, cities, and towns; organizations and individuals producing, processing, trading, and importing food and catering services in the province.

The interdisciplinary inspection team has the task of inspecting, detecting and handling violations of food safety laws (if any); The interdisciplinary inspection team is allowed to use the seal of the Department of Industry and Trade to establish case files and handle administrative violations in accordance with the prescribed order, procedures and authority; and report inspection results to competent persons and agencies as prescribed.
During the inspection process, the head of the interdisciplinary inspection team and members of the inspection team will exercise the powers prescribed by the Law on Inspection and current laws.
In this decision, the Provincial People's Committee assigns the Head of the interdisciplinary inspection team to base on this Decision to develop an inspection plan to submit to the competent authority for approval and implementation in accordance with regulations.
The People's Committees of districts, cities and towns are responsible for coordinating with the interdisciplinary inspection team during the inspection process at units in the areas under their management.
