Madam leads prostitution ring of more than 1 million VND/time

(Baonghean.vn) - On December 31, the Vinh City Police Investigation Agency announced that it had initiated a case and prosecuted Le Thi Ngoc Hien for prostitution brokerage.

Previously, through information gathering, Vinh City Police discovered a subject who often brought prostitutes to hotels in Vinh City to sell to customers for 1-1.5 million VND each time. During the investigation, detectives identified the subject as Le Thi Ngoc Hien (born 1975), residing in Tuong Duong district.

On December 23, Hien was found hiring a taxi to take two prostitutes to the Asia Hotel to sell them to two sex buyers in rooms 205 and 303. While the subjects were engaging in prostitution, the police raided the room and caught them red-handed.

The two subjects who were sexually harassed were named Phung Thi Hong (born 1990), residing in Nghia Tan commune, Nghia Dan, and Nguyen Thi Minh (born 1982), residing in Trung Do ward, Vinh city.

Immediately afterwards, the Vinh City Police Department conducted an emergency search of Le Thi Ngoc Hien while she was renting a room at Phuong Huy Hotel, Hung Binh Ward, and seized 7 unused condoms, 1,250,000 VND in cash, and 1 mobile phone.
