But there are also cases where even minor injuries take away the immediate opportunities of players, such as the recent case of SLNA defender Van Khanh. If he had not been injured during training with the Vietnam U23 team, Van Khanh would have gone with his teammates to China to compete in the 2018 AFC U23 Championship.
